¶ Configuring Bitget API Key
To generate an API key in your Bitget account and integrate it with the Tradegrub app, follow these instructions:

¶ Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Log in to your Bitget account at https://www.bitget.com.
- Click on the Profile Icon in the top right corner and select API Management.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Click on Create New API in the API Management section.
- Enter a Label/Name for the API key and create a Passphrase.
- Set the Permissions for the API key:
- Read-Only: Grants permission to view data like market data.
- Trade: Allows placing and canceling orders.
- For Security, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.
To whitelist our IP address, refer to the guide - Add Tradegrub IP - Complete Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), including email, SMS, and Google verification codes.
- Click Confirm to generate the API key.
Note: Save the API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase securely, as the Secret Key is only displayed once.
