¶ Configuring Gate.io API Key
To generate an API key in your Gate.io account and integrate it with the Tradegrub app, follow these instructions:

¶ Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Log in to your Gate.io account at https://www.gate.io.
- Go to Profile icon > API Management.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Click on Create New API Key.

Set the appropriate Label and Permissions for the API key (e.g., read-only, trading).

Select Account type as Trading Account for live account and Testnet for sandbox account.

IP Whitelist: For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.

Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
- Enter your Fund Password and the 6-digit dynamic code generated by your Google Authenticator.
- Click Confirm.
Note: The API Key and Secret Key will be displayed once. Ensure you save the Secret Key securely, as it will not be shown again.
