¶ Configuring HitBTC API Key
To generate an API key in your HitBTC account and integrate it with the Tradegrub app, follow these instructions:

¶ Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Log in to your HitBTC account at https://hitbtc.com.
- Click on Setting button on top right and then Go to the API Keys section in your account settings.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Click on the New API Key button.
- The Public API key and Secret key will be generated. Make sure to save the Secret key securely as it will only be displayed once.
- Set Access Rights for your API key:
- You can allow actions like viewing order history, trading balances, managing orders.
- Enable 2FA and email confirmation to add extra security when managing orders and initiating withdrawals.
- For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.
- To whitelist our IP address, refer to the guide - Add Tradegrub IP
Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
Note: Always keep your API keys secure and never share them.
