¶ Configuring KuCoin API Key
To configure the API keys for the TradeGrub app, follow these steps:

- Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Step 2: Create a New API Key
- Step 3: Add API Key to TradeGrub
¶ Step 1: Navigate to API Key Screen
- Log in to your KuCoin account at kucoin.com.
- Click on your account avatar in the top-right corner and select API Management.
- Click on the Create API button.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Enter a name for your API key (e.g., TradeGrub).
- Set a passphrase. This passphrase will be used for authentication, so save it securely.
- In the "Permissions" section, enable the following options:
- Spot Trading
- Margin Trading
- Futures Trading
DO NOT check any Transfer check boxes, as our app doesn't require these options to function.
For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.

Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
- Click "Next".
- Complete the security verification by entering your trading password and email verification code.
- After verification, you will be shown your API key (public key) and secret key. Copy and save these securely, as the secret key will only be shown once.
