¶ Configuring OKX API Key
To configure the API keys for the TradeGrub app, follow these steps:

- Step 2: Create a New API Key
- Step 3: Add API Key to TradeGrub
¶ Step 1: Navigate to API Key Screen
- Log in to your OKX account at okx.com.
- Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner of your OKX dashboard.
- Click on API and then select Create API to initiate the process.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Enter a name for your API key (e.g., TradeGrub).
- Select Main Account from the dropdown menu.
- Select API Trading as the purpose.
For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.- To whitelist our IP address, refer to the guide - Add Tradegrub IP
Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
- In the "Permissions" section, enable the following options:
- Read and Trade access
Do not enable withdrawal rights for security purposes.
- Click Submit All.
- Complete the security verification by entering your email verification code and phone verification code.
- After verification, you will be shown your API key (public key) and secret key. Copy and save these securely, as the secret key will only be shown once.
