¶ Configuring TimeX API Key
To generate an API key in your TimeX account and integrate it with the Tradegrub app, follow these instructions:

¶ Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Log in to your TimeX account at https://timex.io.
- Click on the Profile Icon in the top menu, then select Trading Setup from the dropdown menu.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- On the Trading Setup page, click the Create New API Key button.
- Select the permissions as required. (e.g., General is selected. Enable Trading and DO NOT set Withdrawals).
- For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.
- To whitelist our IP address, refer to the guide - Add Tradegrub IP
Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
- Scan the QR code to get API key and Secret and securely store your API Key and Secret.
Note: Ensure you save your API Secret securely, as it cannot be retrieved after initial creation.
¶ Sandbox Account
TimeX does not provide a specific sandbox environment for testing. Be careful when configuring and testing your API keys on a live account.
