¶ Configuring XT API Key
To generate an API key in your XT account and integrate it with the Tradegrub app, follow these instructions:

¶ Step 1: Navigate To API Management Screen
- Log in to your XT account at https://www.xt.com.
- Click on your Profile Icon in the upper-right corner and select API Management.
¶ Step 2: Create a New API Key
Please AVOID selecting the "Withdrawal" or "Transfer" options when adding an API key, as these are not needed for our app to operate.
- Click Create API Key.
- Assign a Label to your key and set the permissions needed (e.g., read-only, trade).
- Set up IP Whitelist for security. For security purposes, it is highly recommended to whitelist specific IP addresses to safeguard your API key.
- To whitelist our IP address, refer to the guide - Add Tradegrub IP
Avoid using unrestricted settings, as they significantly reduce account security.
- Click Confirm.
- Once the API key is generated, securely save the API Key and Secret Key, as the secret will only be shown once.
Note: Ensure you store your API Secret securely, as it cannot be retrieved once created.

XT provides a testnet environment for demo trading. You can use https://testnet.xt.com to practice futures trading without risking real assets.
